Description

Evidence has been mounting that past climate changes played an important role in the evolution of our genus, Homo. However, identifying and quantifying the impact of climatic and environmental changes on human speciation, adaptation, migration, and cultural development has remained challenging. In this conference, we will bring together experts from various disciplines, including paleo-climate, anthropology, archaeology, ecology, climate modeling, and genomics, to advance this emerging field and to forge new collaborations.
