Programme
The programme will include plenary sessions and poster sessions on the following topics :
- Glacial-interglacial climate dynamics during the last 1.5 million years
- Onset, characteristics and end of the last interglacial period
- Abrupt climate variability during the last glacial period and termination
- Climate forcings and variability during the last 2 ka
- Climate of the Holocene- Ice dynamics
- Ice core age scales and synchronisation with other records
- New frontiers in ice core retrieval and analysis
- Interpreting ice core proxies
- Biogeochemical cycles
Limited support is available to scientists from developing countries.
The deadline for applications is 1 May 2012.
