A geologist who has a wide experience on paleolimnology, lake sedimentation processes, and physical properties and chronology of lacustrine sequences. During the recent years I have applied different research techniques on high-resolution sediment sequences that are annually laminated (i.e. varved) in order to build high-resolution time-series based on lake archives and reconstruct climatic and environmental changes.
