By plane

Zaragoza Airport: Zaragoza Airport is a small airport with limited companies and flights ( The main companies with flights to Zaragoza are: - Ryanair (with flights from Paris (Beauvais), Brussels (Charleroi), Milan (Bergamo), London (Stansted); Wizzair (with flights from Bucharest, Napona); Volotea (with flights from Mahon, Ibiza, Mallorca); Air Europa.

Zaragoza airport is located 10 km outside the city and connected to the city centre by buses which run every half an hour (every hour on Sundays) from 06:15 to 23:15.

The journey takes between 20 and 30 minutes and you will be charged €1.85 for a single ticket.

From Madrid Airport

From Madrid Airport to Madrid Atocha train station, you can travel by:
1. Taxi (30 minutes, around €30)
2. Train (suburban "Cercanias" train leaves from Terminal T4 and takes around 40 mins, €3). If you are in terminals T1 T2 or T3, take the free airport bus shuttle to terminal T4. With your AVE train ticket, you can get the "Cercanias" ticket for free in the automatic vending machines typing the code “CombinadoCercanías” that appears on your AVE ticket.
3. Bus (40 minutes, around €6).

From Madrid Atocha train station to Zaragoza Delicias central station:
High speed RENFE AVE trains to Zaragoza take 1 hour 30 minutes and cost around €60. Tickets are only available to purchase three months in advance of your expected travel date. More information at

Alternatively, catch a bus directly from Madrid Airport to Zaragoza Delicias central station. ALSA company runs a service between Madrid Airport Terminal T4 and Zaragoza every 2-3 hours (3 hours 45 minutes trip, single/return: €15/€26). If you are in terminals T1 T2 or T3, take the free airport bus shuttle to terminal T4.

From Barcelona Airport

From Barcelona El Prat Airport to Barcelona Sants train station:
Take the half-hourly RENFE R2 train from T2B (if you arrive at T1 there is an airport bus which takes you to T2B station) to Barcelona Sants (20 minutes, around €4.50). With your pre-booked AVE train ticket to Zaragoza, you can get a ticket on the Rodalies suburban train to Barcelona Sants for free from the automatic vending machines.

From Barcelona Sants to Zaragoza Delicias central station:
Take the high-speed train AVE to Zaragoza (1 hour 45 minutes, around €60).

Coming by train or bus

If you arrive in Zaragoza by train or by bus, you will be at Zaragoza Delicias central station (Address: Avda de Navarra, 80).

The station is connected to the city centre and the conference venue by bus and taxi services. To get to the conference auditorium, the taxi fare is around €7-8 and the bus number is Ci2 (around €1.50).

Please, remember that you have to pay cash to the bus driver. Credit cards are accepted in only a few taxis (ask in advance).

By car

From Barcelona to Zaragoza by car is a 300km drive and takes about 3 hours. You will spend most of the journey on the AP-2. Remember that AP roads are toll roads.

From Madrid to Zaragoza by car is a 320km journey and takes about 3 hours 15 minutes, traveling mainly on the A-2 road (no toll).
