GPWG2 fire policy issue brief

PAGES' parent organization Future Earth has published an article about the recent Global Paleofire Working Group 2 Policy Brief.

While the area burnt by wildfires has declined globally over the past decades, fire is now occurring more frequently and severely in ecosystems that have historically rarely experienced fire.
