PhD position, meteorology/atmospheric chemistry - Oslo, Norway

A PhD Research Fellow in Meteorology/Atmospheric Chemistry is available at the University of Oslo, Norway.


This is a four-year position, including teaching assistant.


The PhD position will be carried out within the VIKINGS project on "Volcanic Eruptions and their Impacts on Climate, Environment, and Viking Society in 500-1250 CE".

The PhD Research Fellowship will have a strong focus on Chemistry Climate Modeling, simulating the effects of volcanic volatiles on the atmosphere.


Experience in atmospheric chemistry and physics, aerosols, or climate modeling and analysis of large model or observational data will be beneficial for this position.
