The University of East Anglia (UEA) is widely recognised as one of the world's leading institutions concerned with the study of natural and anthropogenic climate change. Its research groups include the Climatic Research Unit (CRU), the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, and the Centre for Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (COAS).

The successful candidate for this new Lectureship will develop an innovative and internationally recognised research programme, making an important contribution to the Climatic Research Unit and collaborating across UEA's research groups. With a keen interest in developing excellent teaching, the post holder will also contribute to teaching in climate change at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
