INQUA and PAGES will conduct a four-day workshop for early-career researchers, titled "Impact of sea-level rise from past to future (iSLR)", in Utrecht, The Netherlands, from 26-29 August 2018.

For this workshop, the definition of an early-career researcher (ECR) is a PhD candidate and up to 8 years after PhD (i.e. PhD received later than 2010).
The workshop will be limited to 75 participants.

Day 1, 26 August: Arrival of the participants and ice breaker
Day 2, 27 August: Sessions (keynotes, speed talks from the participants, poster session, public event with the press)
Day 3, 28 August: Excursion
Day 4, 29 August: Sessions (keynote, speed talks from the participants, poster session) and meeting close


Details of how to register will be made available soon.

The registration fee is 200EUR for everyone. It includes all workshop material, meals and accommodation at a youth hostel (3 nights) and the excursion.

Financial support

There will be some financial support/grants available for registration and for travel. Details of how to apply will be made available soon.
