CoralHydro2k meeting

The CoralHydro2k project of the PAGES 2k Network will hold a side meeting on 1 September 2019 in conjunction with the 13th International Conference on Paleoceanography in Sydney, Australia (ICP13).

Venue

The one-day meeting runs from 09:00-17:00.

The venue is the University of New South Wales, Sydney (UNSW Sydney), Kensington Campus. Room location: K-G6-G13.

Description

All community members interested in the work of CoralHydro2k are invited to attend.

Organizers invite 10-15 minute talks (plus time for discussion) on all aspects of seawater δ¹⁸O and temperature reconstructions of the tropical ocean from paired coral Sr/Ca and δ¹⁸O records, with a specific focus on the last millennia. Contributions on simulations of water isotope enabled coupled AOGCMs and ROMS and on long-term instrumental observations of tropical surface ocean temperature and salinity are welcome.
